1920 - Atatürk'ün, Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi'nin gizli oturumunda siyasîında konuşması: "...Millî amaçlarımızın temin ve elde edilişi amacıyla her türlü girişimde bulunmamız için icra Heyeti'ne yetki vermiştiniz. Biz o yetkiye dayanarak tabiî her tarafta girişimlerde bulunmaktayız. Ancak bu girişimlerin eylem haline dönüşmesi için tarihe karşı, millete karşı çok düşünmek mecburiyetindeyiz ve bu düşünceler son eylemin yaklaştığınıığı zaman zannediyorum ki, Yüksek Heyetinizde gereken kanaat ve güven oluşacaktır." 1919 - Bandırma vapurunun, gece saat 23.00 sıralarında İnebolu'ya gelişi (Şiddetli fırtına sebebiyle Atatürk ve arkadaşları karaya çıkmaksızın yolculuğa devam etmişlerdir.

Atatürk'ün, Ömer Sezai (Madra) Bey'e mektubu: "Azizim Sezai Bey, vazifeli olarak Anadolu'ya hareket ediyorum. Sizde korunan emanete ait senedi, anneme bıraktım. Dönüşünüzde, emanetle senedin değiştirilmesi için Vasıf Bey biraderimize rica ettim. Gözlerinizden öperim." [Kocatürk]

1916 - Atatürk'ün, sabah 17. Alay'ın bulunduğu Şin cephesinden hareket ederek saat 18.00'de Kulp'a gelişi, geceyi burada kurulan ordugâhta geçirişi.

1915 - Atatürk'ün, Arıburun Kuvvetleri Komutanlığı'ndan ayrılarak 19. Tümen Komutanlığı görevine dönüşü. (Bugün, 3. Kolordu Komutanlığı'nın emriyle Çanakkale'deki kuvvetler yeniden düzenlenmiş ve bölge savunması 4 gruba ayrılmıştır. Bu düzenlemede Atatürk'ün komutasındaki 19. Tümen, "Kuzey Grubu Komutanlığı'na bağlanmış ve bu grup kuvvetlerinin sağ kanadında yer almıştır.

Atatürk'ün, Kuzey Grubu Komutanlığı'na raporu:

"...Kuzey Grubu'nu oluşturan bütün kuvvetlerin hepsine 2. Tümen'in de katılmasıyla tespit edilecek bir taarruz fırsatının, yarından sonra kaçırılmış olmasının ihtimal içerisinde bulunduğunu, havan ve obüslerden fazla bir etki beklemenin gereksiz olduğunu önemle arz ederim."
Atatürk'e, Arıburnu muharebeleri hatırası olmak üzere Padişah adına "Muharebe Altın Liyakat Madalyası" verilmesi.

Atatürk'ün, Arıburun Kuvvetleri Komutanlığı'ndan ayrılışı nedeniyle emrindeki birliklere Kemalyeri'nden veda yazısı: "23 gün sevk ve idare etmek mutluluğunu kazandığım siz demir kitlenin, Tanrı'ya sığınarak yaptığı hücum iledir ki, düşmanın 20.000'i aşan kuvveti Arıburun'da yok edildi. ...Yirmiüçünlük ateşli ve kanlı ortak çabalarımız anısının, samimî ve temiz duyguyla korunacağından eminim."​
